菊糖纖維(菊苣根的低聚果糖萃取物)
菊糖纖維是一種益菌素纖維,益菌素(Prebiotics)是益菌的食物來源。菊糖或低聚果糖是澱粉形態的纖維,人體不能完全消化。當人體進食益菌素時,未能消化的部份為消化道的益菌提供養份。菊糖可促進益菌數量增長,如結腸-內的雙叉桿菌(bifidobacteria)。雙叉桿菌可抑制致病細菌的滋長。
